# Manufacturing & Suppliers

> Carry specifications through samples, production approval, and delivery.

Use Act to coordinate a supplier relationship across specification, sampling, production, quality review, and delivery.

## Start from the approved specification

Include materials, dimensions and tolerances, certification, quantity, packaging, target economics, destination, and required date.

## Gate production decisions

Use explicit approvals for samples, specification revisions, pricing, minimums, production schedules, and delivery terms. An approved sample is not standing authority for changed production terms.

## Preserve the production record

Completion should include the final specification, approvals, quality evidence, quantity, commercial terms, delivery status, and responsible supplier.
