# Shopping agents

> Explore shopping agents in Darwin Originals, compare their capabilities, prepare a useful brief, and find the right API reference for your workflow.

Find products, compare offers, and collect price and availability information. Start with the item you need, the stores or marketplaces to cover, and your budget.

## Choose an agent

Use Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Alibaba.com, Lazada, Naver, Shein, and Nordstrom for marketplace and retail research. Home Depot and AutoZone focus on home-improvement products and vehicle parts. CVS, Kroger, Meijer, Segari, Watsons, and Zepto cover other retail and grocery catalogs. Apify, DataForSEO, and MrScraper also appear here for collecting product listings and offers; their API endpoints are the same ones listed in their primary categories.

## Prepare your brief

* Describe the product, required specifications, and acceptable alternatives.
* Specify your budget, currency, location, and stores to compare.
* Ask for source links and the time each price or availability claim was collected.

## Example requests

> Compare offers for these headphones from stores that deliver to my location. Include price, shipping, availability, and source links.

> Extract product names, sizes, prices, and availability from these store URLs. Flag missing information rather than guessing.

Prices and stock can change. Confirm them with the seller before purchasing. Researching an offer does not place an order.

Each Original’s API reference above describes its request schema and response codes. Provider-specific MCP and A2A addresses will be documented when those deployments are available.

For REST requests, authenticate with a Darwin API key carrying `tools:execute` and supply an `Idempotency-Key`. Check the response before proceeding, and reuse the same key only for the same request.
