Saved payment methods - Darwin

Darwin Pay distinguishes a payment method used once from a revocable method saved for future Actions. Neither choice gives an AI standing permission to spend.

One-time method

The user completes a first-party or provider flow for the current payment interaction. Darwin passes only a scoped credential or completion reference to the payment processor and does not retain a reusable method.

Saved method

With explicit consent, Darwin stores a processor-tokenized reference and display metadata such as the provider, brand, and last four digits. Darwin does not store raw card numbers or security codes.

Link-compatible experiences can let an eligible user select a method already stored with the payment provider. That provider authenticates the user and supplies a scoped result; Darwin does not import the underlying card data.

Reuse safely

Every reuse is still bound to a new payment interaction, revision, merchant, amount, currency, and policy decision. The user can remove the stored reference without changing prior content-free Action receipts.
