Connect Darwin as an external MCP server, then attach it only to the ElevenLabs agents that need capability discovery or durable Action tools.
This is a self-serve custom MCP connection. ElevenLabs does not document a public third-party integration listing submission path.

Enable MCP for the workspace

Open the MCP server integrations dashboard and accept the workspace-level MCP terms. ElevenLabs currently excludes Zero Retention Mode and HIPAA workspaces from this feature.

Add Darwin

Create a custom MCP server named Darwin, choose Streamable HTTP, and enter https://mcp.darwin.so/mcp. Complete Darwin authentication without placing credentials in the server URL or description.

Test discovery

Save the connection and confirm that ElevenLabs discovers one Search tool and six Action tools.

Attach it to an agent

Select the agents that may use Darwin, then configure tool-level approval before making the agent public.

Approval policy

ElevenLabs tool approval controls whether its agent may invoke a tool. It does not replace Darwin’s typed approval, payment, or authentication state. The agent must still follow the current availableActions returned by Darwin.

Voice interaction behavior

Tell callers when an Action pauses for input or a first-party browser step. Do not let conversational filler, an interrupted utterance, or a synthesized confirmation stand in for an exact Darwin approval. Store actionId outside the voice transcript so a later turn or another channel can recover the same Action rather than starting duplicate work. Open the public setup guide.
