Add Darwin as a remote MCP server in Cursor and complete browser authentication.
The one-click MCP install and public plugin source work now. Darwin is not yet listed in Cursor Marketplace; every marketplace plugin is manually reviewed.
Install Darwin in Cursor, browse the public Darwin Cursor plugin preview, or use the standalone credential-free configuration.
Use Search when the coding task needs an external capability, product, service, or dataset. Keep the selected capability ID and revision in the agent’s working state. Before Act, require the agent to show the provider, inputs, price or quote state, and any required approval.
Do not store a Darwin API key in a repository rule, prompt file, generated code, or client-visible environment variable.

Authorize as yourself

Complete browser OAuth; do not commit user-scoped credentials.

Verify the tool boundary

Confirm Search and each Action mutation appear as separate tools.

Add workflow guidance

Install the Darwin Agent Skill or equivalent project guidance without embedding secrets.
