Darwin fits Claude clients through MCP. Add the canonical remote server, authenticate with Darwin, then keep Search and consequential Action operations visibly separate.

Custom connector installation works now. Darwin is not yet listed in Anthropic’s Connectors Directory; that listing requires Anthropic review.

Ask Claude to Search first and show the user the selected capability, provider, price or quote state, and required authority. Only then should it start an Action with the exact capability revision. For an application built with Anthropic’s SDK, call Darwin from your trusted server and expose bounded tool schemas to the model. See Anthropic SDK.

Confirm Search is read-only and Action mutations remain separate.

Test recovery

Start only safe test work, keep the actionId, and confirm Claude can read it again.

A useful system boundary

Darwin's structured response is authoritative. Never replace a nonterminal status
with a claim of completion. Never infer approval from user context, a provider
connection, or the fact that a browser window closed.
