Connect a security finding with investigation, remediation, and validation help.

Developer project · Proposed Act workflow.

The build.

SwarmShield uses Python, FastAPI, and Google’s Gen AI SDK for its Gemini planner, with a deterministic fallback. Its security demonstrations are simulated. The README describes optional Darwin Search for remediation agents, but the referenced integration module is absent from the reviewed revision.

The brief

A security finding needs investigation before a fix can be trusted. SwarmShield uses findings to identify the expertise needed to address the underlying issue.

Finding the right capabilities

Darwin finds remediation and validation capabilities for the affected component and the available evidence.

Coordinating the work

Selected specialists could investigate the finding, propose a fix, and test it in the agreed environment. Production changes would remain with the responsible engineer.

What comes back

A remediation proposal with evidence, validation results, and remaining checks for change review.

The plan, step by step

  1. 1

    Investigate the finding.

an analyst reviewing information at a laptop.

Search. Find remediation expertise for the reviewed finding and affected component.

Act. Investigate the approved evidence within the engineer’s stated boundaries.

Outcome. Evidence, uncertainty, and affected conditions linked to the original finding.

  2. 2

    Propose a fix.

Search. Review the supported finding with the selected remediation agent.

Act. Request a fix proposal with affected components, validation steps, and rollback considerations.

Outcome. A remediation proposal with supporting evidence, implementation questions, and acceptance checks.

  3. 3

    Validate the change.

Search. Find validation help for the component and approved test environment.

Act. Check the proposed fix and record passing, failed, and unrun tests.

Outcome. Validation evidence and remaining checks for the engineer’s change review.

Validation record.

Trace the proposed fix and validation evidence back to the original finding.

Investigation record

Deliverable: Evidence, uncertainty, and affected conditions linked to the original finding.

Review criteria: Use the selected finding and context. Do not widen access or assume the issue is exploitable without evidence.

Remediation proposal

Deliverable: A remediation proposal with supporting evidence, implementation questions, and acceptance checks.

Review criteria: Return the proposal for review. Do not modify production or expand the investigation.

Validation record

Deliverable: Validation evidence and remaining checks for the engineer’s change review.

Review criteria: Keep failed and unrun checks visible. Leave production authorization with the responsible engineer.
